"Bright Futures for Every Child"

Sunlit Arrows Project:

The Sunlit Arrows Project is a charity I dream of creating to help raise awareness and funds for Genetic Illnesses, ensuring that children have the opportunity to grow, thrive, and fulfill their God-given potential. Inspired by the words of Psalm 127:4, we see children as arrows in our quiver—strong, purposeful, and full of promise. We believe that every child is a precious gift and a beacon of hope, meant to shine brightly in the world. Together, we aim to create a future where every child can embark on their unique journey, surrounded by the light of love, support, and groundbreaking research.

Why give?

  • A Chance for Every Child’s Journey

Every child deserves the chance to grow up, explore life’s adventures, and fulfill their purpose. By supporting research for genetic illnesses, you’re helping to give children the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of life.

  • Faith in Tomorrow

Investing in genetic research is an act of hope and faith, believing in a future where no child’s story ends too soon. Together, we can be part of a journey that turns impossible obstacles into inspiring stories of resilience and healing.

  • Planting Seeds of Hope

Like the simple beauty of a sunflower standing tall, your donation helps plant seeds for a brighter tomorrow. With your support, we can grow solutions that give children not just a fighting chance, but a full life—a life filled with faith, joy, and endless potential.

 FAQs

  • Genetic illnesses are disorders caused by abnormalities in an individual's DNA, often inherited from parents. Examples included, but not limited to, are: Cystic Fibrosis, Hunter Syndrome, Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), Turner Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Autism.

  • In the United States, genetic illnesses affect approximately 1 in 10 people, translating to around 32 million individuals. Among these, an estimated 3.5 million are children. These genetic disorders can range from rare diseases, like cystic fibrosis and Hunter syndrome, to more common conditions, underscoring the importance of research and support for affected families.

  • I personally know and love people with Cystic Fibrosis, Hunter Syndrome, and Autism. They have spent their entire lives fighting for life and have every right to be discouraged and bitter but instead are ever present sources of God’s light to my life. They have blessed me in ways I can neither comprehend nor express and I pray every day that God would cure them so that I can keep them with me here on earth for as long as our days allow.

  • Believe it or not you can make an impact! You can donate financially to raise funds for research, or simply share these testimonies with your friends and family to raise awareness.

  • As of right now we are still working out the technicalities of receiving donations and passing them forward, ensuring they are received by the organizations. Until we have it all sorted out, the biggest contribution you can make is to donate your time and breath, telling others about Genetic Illnesses and raising awareness for this common cause.
