Dance In The Storm

-a poem-

Life is like living on the ocean

Storms arise constantly

And you are tossed endlessly by the tumultuous tempest.

You are forever thrown around by the winds.

You are forever numbed by the piercing situations that are waves.

You are forever just waiting, holding on only because of the words:

“Every Storm Passes.”

And that’s true.

Every storm will end.

But you can’t live for the end of the storm because another one will come right around the corner.

Instead, you need to learn how to stand firm in the winds.

You need to dance in the waves.

You need to find joy in the rain, instead of wallowing on the sorrows of the storm.

Because Every Storm Passes, but so do the opportunities for Dancing in them.

So seize the day, no matter what you are going through.

Stop living in misery and excuses because of where you are at.

Get up.

Embrace the rains

Face the winds

Jump the waves

Smile

Spread your arms

And Dance in the Storm
